Raven and her sister Ivy
The characters in the picture belong to me and NO ONE else!!!!
Big female Feline:
Athena, Captain of the BloodClaw Pirates! (Currently Deceased, but definitely not forgotten)
Small Male Lynx:
Tyson, just a simple land lover feline who fell for the Big girl. (Currently alive and though he is not in his daughters lives, he knows quite a bit about them.)
Athena rarely ventured onto land unless it was to resupply her ship or she had matters to attend to that called her from the ship.
Tyson was not particularly fond of pirates, though that didn't mean he hated them. They were just crude for his more gentlemen type of thinking.
So their meeting really was a once in a lifetime moment.
While docked at shore for some boat repairs, Athena decided to slip away from the watchful eyes of her crew for some time to herself.
Many on land avoided her out of fear and gave her plenty of space as she walked by them.
But as she passed by a small book store she caught the eye of a Lynx who had been skimming through a astrology book.
Never before had he seen such a beautiful feline and the way she held herself demanded his attention even more.
He found himself quietly following her. He noticed she wasn't the nicest feline in the world, but that did not matter to him one bit.
Something about her was as appealing as the shiniest sapphire, calling his name ever so loudly.
When he finally got the nerve to talk to her, while she found a place to rest and allow her thoughts to consume her head. Of course she was far from friendly at first, believing him to be just another land lover nuisance.
But he took her grumpiness in stride and soon the two of them got lost talking about all sorts of things!
He learned from their conversations that she was much more knowledgeable about the world then most of his books. She told him of all that she and her crew had been through and the sights she had seen.
The two of them grew VERY close during that week her boat was docked for repairs. Athena found herself venture on land to meet him more and more, much to the disdain of her crew members who did not agree with this fling and believed Tyson to have ulterior motives.
Once the repairs were finished and it was time to sail again, Athena asked for Tyson to join her on the seas and experience the world for himself.
But Tyson declined her offer, letting her know
"As the Sea calls to you and you can never leave it, it is the dry land that calls to me to seek out all her mysteries."
Athena respected this and sailed away. with the promise that they would always find a way to meet again in this life.
She later learned she was pregnant with her first born, Raven.
Years later she would return to land again and the two of them would meet for him to meet his daughter and her to become pregnant once more with Ivy.
While Athena loved Tyson dearly, she never could give up her life on the open sea, but that charming Lynx would always have her heart.
