Another long overdue artwork re-upload that's been in the pipeline for around two years (the vast majority of the images that I've been posting to my gallery recently were commissioned within the timeframe of 2022, which doesn't feel very long ago what with me not having bought anything for myself in nearly a year), this time illustrated in the adorable traditional style of Veille112 on DeviantArt (https://www.deviantart.com/veille112)! Once again continuing the various adventures of August, my Sawsbuck, and Cederic, the wolf of whom belongs to 
RodonEndwell. It was also commissioned by him! i swear i have at least one image in which i was the one to purchase content of his characters
This is another submission where I wasn't really directly in touch with the artist who drew it, so can't really claim to be familiar with them or their policy towards reuploads of their work with credit provided. Rodon, however, has given me permission to submit this, so I hope it's alright! It's always nice to see some traditional artwork amidst a climate that has primarily moved towards digital endeavours, especially in a world of talentless AI generations. The only downside I would be able to recall about this image is that the WIP sketches were a bit more zoomed out than the finished product, and therefore the final version has a bit less detail than it could have.
Sometimes it's ideal to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life! Like stopping to rest and observe a group of iridescent butterflies fluttering by... one I which has decided to take a perch atop Cederic's snout! August appreciates the serene gesture of trust... or maybe he's just jealous that the butterflies don't want to land on his nose instead. Don't worry, August! I'm sure that one closest to you could be convinced to land on you :)
Hopefully Cederic doesn't sneeze. Or have a pollen allergy. Must be a pretty warm spot for butterflies to be around while August is in his "winter" forme!
