A planet of eternal night, Umbros orbits no star or large body of it's own. Instead existing as an anomaly of life drifting through a sea of stars, orbited by a single large moon dubbed 'Lunas' and a large celestial ring of blinding light that spins on it's own around the planet.. The only source of warmth keeping the planet from entering a completely frozen state. The composition of the ring is unknown, but the religious organization in the Peaks known as the Ringbearers believe it to be Divine.
Like the Ring, Lunas also has a group of followers believing it to be divine having observed it's effect on the tides of the planet, and the rifts to the beyond that have cropped up recently.
