Not sure if it's leather but it sure is an old worn couch. Probably put together of some old wooden planks and boards and some blankets or other sheets of fabrics that were lying around. Everything in his realm is old, dusty, rusty, worn down, etc and mostly made out of old spare materials.
I like that reused-items charme and rustic atmosphere pretty much.
