Nibbles the shark has spent most of his life working his muscles, mostly because he felt expected to, but secretly he dreams of letting it all melt into lard.
Chow the manatee is a tub of lard who can practically taste the end of his mobility, hoping he can finally turn back from that edge, dreaming of shedding all the excess blubber.
Their eyes meet, and they see in each other the bodies of their dreams. Perhaps together, they can achieve those dreams.

Very silly OC idea I had roughly a year ago. Classic muscle and fat opposite pairing, except these two desperately want to swap roles and come together for that very reason. Tried writing a story at the time, but they just weren't clicking in a written work; now that I'm attempting art, though, it seemed like a good chance to at least establish these two.

Fun fact: I loosely based these characters off my own stuffed animals. Nibbles is the result of being very normal about a blahaj.
