Roach Remy
A gift for my friend Amber. Her kitsune character Remina has just had a small mishap with a magical artifact that's forced some cockroach-like qualities on her. Now she's got antennae and some bits of armored carapace and wings, as well as taking on a more insect-like size. She'd better be careful and learn to look up if she wants to avoid the sorts of hazards that can befall critters her size!

Okay so pawstompingly mooshingly funny, and in general I just love this figure for its masses. The feet are nearly as long as the lower and upper legs, and the toes (squee) are all thick and pretty and yum, and sweeeee the thin yet not fragile looking female figure. :) Thin yet not fragile-looking is something that there's never enough of, and she's fuzzy. I bet she's soft like a tobacco moth. :) I bet she's nice to huuuug~ Ffff, this reminds me of my buggy days in another life years ago...:p it was weird-cool-curious, this pic takes me back :>
I'm really glad ya like it so much! :) I wish I could take more credit, but plenty of those things just turned out that way by luck or chance. ;D I don't have too much experience drawing females, I really need to try more, but my preferences are the same. I think people are much more attractive when they look like they WON'T be toppled by a light breeze or snap in half if you give them a hug. So in drawing, striking a balance between making a character look female but not like just another underfed, key-feature-exaggerated supermodel twig is always a goal of mine. I want people to look like real people, and help spread the idea that looking real and normal is far more attractive than the stupid the beauty culture perpetuates.
That's just a soapbox issue for me thought. ^^ I'm happy with how this turned out, I like the look of those paws too, and I think that combination of armor and fluff would be all kinds of huggable.
