Got a quick practice piece of Bea from the video game "Night in the Woods" for you all today. Night in the Woods is a game near and dear to my heart and Bea was absolutely my favorite character, I always felt like I could relate to her life situation in a way. For this piece however I really wanted to try and practice some smoke and fog effects and actually think I did a pretty good job with the smoke, the fog is alright and needs a bit more refinement. The only real thing I don't like about this piece is the character herself, I feel I rushed through Bea a bit here and it shows in the end results so I'll have to be a bit more patient in future drawings. I also did some quick simple background work with a very simple cemetery, I didn't put too much work into it because it'd be hidden by the fog so it's just a bit building she's leaning against a couple tomb stones, a cross and a star of david headstone with a trail leading to them, nothing special just a quick and easy background. For my next piece I'm thinking of drawing someone from the game "Tooth and Tail" because I'm playing through it at the moment and while some missions in the single player are really infuriating others are really fun and the characters all have such fun designs, I'm thinking I'll draw either Hopper or Kasha next. Alright that's about all I have to say about this piece.
