Sometimes just to annoy people I'll say "quick say racecar backwards!" and even though it's obvious, when something like that is on the spot it usually throws people off.

Now, that was a blast from the past. And I have to say, I recognized Tate almost immediately and Lemon as well. Even all these years later, I do kind of miss reading the exploits of that hard-boiled bastard. *smiles.*

As I may have mentioned before, I've found myself in a similar funk in regards to writing since the end of 2024, like all that has happened has thrown me off my game, so to speak. But, I am getting back up, gradually but surely. Maybe I ought to follow your example and make time for characters to sneak up on me again.
