I am very well aware that axolotls aren't sea creatures, though to be fair Ibiss isn't a water creature to begin with, so the need for suits that adapt him to diverse environments is clear.
For this I'm gonna spit some specs for the fun of it, as usually I leave the description almost empty:
The Wetsuit: A typical wetsuit with a back zipper. Thicker than the typical wetsuit, more akin to a drysuit. It also contains a set of temperature control pipes.
The Mask: Suited with a rebreather and four tiny speakers for voice output, which include voice obfuscation. And it obviously conceals Ibiss's identity pretty well. A internal HUD is ready to supply the wearer any relevant information.
Chest Rig: A small box with a slot for compressed air canisters the size of a can. They're relatively easy to change, and the rig locks when a canister is removed to avoid the entry of water. The mechanism still acts on land, though it can be easily deactivated through the same internal trigger the canisters use to revert it.
Air Recycling Units: A set of vague gill-like vents that discreetly scrub CO₂ on the neck and middle torso that also regulate the internal temperature.
Oxygen Canisters: Being the size of a can and weighing 370 grams (13 oz) per full unit, they contain enough oxygen for 40 minutes to 2 hours. Carrying three usually is enough for most underwater operations.
