i've had braces for the past year+ and am going to have them taken off soon! been reflecting on the experience:
almost every time i got new bands, i asked the person doing it to give me a rainbow. it was really cool seeing the different ways that got interpreted by different people!

I had ceramic braces with clear rubber bands almost the entire time I wore them. Only for the last few months of my treatment did I decide to go with colored bands, like neon green. I regret having boring clear bands for almost two years and wish my braces were neon green the entire time! Glad you had rainbow braces, that's so much fun =:D
This was my second rodeo with braces, I'd had them for 3 or 4 years as a kid! During that time I'd done all kinds of colors (like, red/green for xmas season for example), so I knew I liked doing the colored bands!
I'm just really glad none of the staff seemed to mind doing the rainbow! Most seemed kinda excited, actually. xD
