In the New Benelux region Chakats and Dravers have been living alongside eachother in rural areas for a long time and generally gotten along quite well, partly because Chakats have played a role in the development of Dravers by copying the spinal joint of the upper and lower torso of Chakats which finally fixed the biggest flaw in their design which caused spinal injuries in Dravers. Eliminating that problem gave Dravers their current posture, no longer having a foward leaning upper torso like the first generations so they did no longer need to wear special back braces to pull or haul goods. And another improvement was made in the dual heart system so the upper and lower half were no longer on seperate vascular systems.
While similiar in some ways there are also differences in physical abilities, not too surprising considering their different species and intended design, some of which can be observed in these cubs and foals playing a ball game together. Dravers definitely have the speed advantage, while the Chakats are more agile and able to make tighter turns and at longer distances Dravers have more stamina even without pacing themselves. And at this age Dravers also have a strength advantage, but that gap closes eventually in adulthood though Dravers still have some advantage, particularly in pulling power since they were designed to be living farm equipment, and they are more sure-footed on steep, muddy and uneven terrain while carrying heavy loads compared to Chakats, though Chakats have their front handpaws which give them the advantage on other terrain. Similar to Chakat handpaws Dravers have slihgtly mobility in their front hooves compared to a normal horse or pony, allowing them to hook around things, allowing them to climb a ladder, allbeit with some difficulty with narrow rungs unless they wear hoof coverings allowing for better grip, stairs are no problem for dravers if the surface isn't too smooth such as polished wood or stone. But that is why Dravers have special horse shoe "slippers for indoors or simply have carpeted or rough wooden stairs in their homes.
Their night vision is almost as good as a Chakat's, and they see as well as a human during the day on a clear and moonlit night, this has allowed them to start work early on the fields and was also a factor for chosing the pony as their basis. Another shared feature with Chakats is a very effective digestive system, capable of extracting as much nutrients as possible out of any food while also having the benefit of requiring less food due to how effective it is, although they lack the poison resistance of Chakats who were designed with survival in mind. Dravers would need to know which plants are safe to eat first if they would find themselevs on an alien world, but on Earth they can eat almost any non poisonous plant matter since their diet has started to adjust to hings their non morph counterparts can't eat. Due to how efficent their digestive system is at extractign nutrients it is easy for a Draver to over eat, but since they are active and workign hard they will typically burn off those extra calories quickly as well, but those who are less active can see some weight gain so they will need to balance their diet accordingly.
