Well. This turned out looking completely different from what I had pictured.
Last night I got the urge to draw something fluffy, and immediately thought of drawing a gryphon. Why I don't know I've never drawn one before but whatever. I tried using the techniques in http://tasteslikeanya.deviantart.co.....Long-204839464 but every time I tried to smooth out the shading on the feathers it looked terrible, so I left it as is.
A fun little experiment, I guess. The markings are based on those of an osprey and I guess her other half is a lynx? Considering those ears?
