Avast! A splendid commission I got by Steven Swanson (as he has written his name on his page, I guess I can use it in publicity), and DARN! is this not FREAKING AWESOME?? He used my reference sheet for the clothes, and he managed to bring so many details in! If you notice the holster and the sheath, you will understand why I was so convinced he will do a great job. Mr. Swanson is skilled on - modern - weaponry and military equipment, but too shows deep knowledge in historical accoutrement - that is what is needed for such images.
Additionally me asked  jodimest to draw same face shots of rather unusual expressions, because my skills are limited there and I want to learn from him. The Sparrow gave me a start first, but after all it looks funny and is so off-role it is fitting again.

Some may argue that Jaquard is written with a "q"; yet, in the early 18th century, there was not anything close to a general spelling and all was after the ear. Therefore this is an interesting interpretation, maybe I will use this orthography now and then.

This great work comes incredible close to how I imagine my character, and the whole composition, together with the breath taking background, totally made my day! Commission him, folks!
