My Star Wars fan character trio ( The 'Odd Job' trio) are a small group characters who are essentially "Interplanetary / galaxy errand boys" who travel the universe doing various jobs
the pay varies...yet trouble seems to pop up.
here on Tatooine, Crik Vane [human] is using his fusion cutter to repair a Gonk Droid.
Arlene [Nelvaanian] is sitting and guarding two cargo crates that they're transporting across the dune seas.
Bolts [a salvaged battle droid with mix-matched components] has run into some bad luck as a Jawa has stolen one of his arms and has the audacity to try and sell it back to him.
Crik: almost got it...nearly fixed *fusion cutter buzzes and sparks*
Gonk droid: G-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-g-[continues endlessly]
Crik: hmm....feedback loop...that wasn't supposed to happen.
Arlene: and you said transporting the cargo was going to be the more troublesome job...that gonk keeps developing a new fault after you fix one.
Bolts: that's MY arm you little thief! i want it back!
Jawa: {translated} you seem like an upstanding droid...so i'll give you a little discount eh? whadda ya' say to that?
Bolts: that. is. MY. ARM! i'm not paying you money for what YOU TOOK OFF OF ME!!!
Crik: hmm...*smacks the gonk with the butt of his fusion cutter*
Gonk droid: ...Gonk...Gonk...
Crik: FINALLY! it's fixed...now i'd better go and help Bolts with his Jawa issue.
Arlene: *giigles* no no no...you keep watch of the cargo...I'll deal with the jawa issue.
Crik: ...right...just not too violent this time please...you never know when i may have to make deals with jawas.
Jawa: {translated] okay...that's my final offer...and because i like you i'll even throw in a partiallyy used power convertor.
Bolts: I DON'T CARE ABOUT POWER CONVERTORS! I JUST WANT MY ARM BACK!
