Izanami, the Drug Baroness
"There are easier ways to get the feelings you want, darling. Courage, peace, bliss, ecstasy, I deal in 'em all."
-Izanami
Many people in The Bastion knows of Jujigata Izanami. The big lady, a great example of the "rich spoiled duchess" character archetype, is often seen on many newspapers and magazines, made cameos on radio shows and Taketzu's venues, throw lavish parties, and credited for leaps in Ragnarok's medical field. Less people know that she funds her lavish lifestyle with her established empire of drug-producing and dealing. Having the talent to produce substances very few others can replicate, her services sell all manner of medicinal drugs for hospitals and the ailing, combat drugs for soldiers and raiders, and recreational drugs for the dregs of the Kingdom Of Monsters. Some part of her business isn't actually legal in Ragnarok, but she keeps the enforcers off her back, despite her popularity, through a mix of front operations, encryption between her and her clients, and her hands in certain enforcer-chiefs' pockets and heads. Taketzu's a regular customer for her, as she supplies him with the lust-suppressing drugs he uses to stay functioning for longer in between breeding. Despite them being on the opposite sides of the law, Izanami concerningly enjoys a bit of Tak's support to some extent, contributing to her ability to evade the law, but Tak drew clear lines in the terms of his support; lines Izanami makes sure not to cross. Despite her outgoing, bubbly and matronly personality, Izanami's rarely seen without an entourage of bodyguards, and she takes a lot of measures to ensure her security.
I've really outdone myself with this big lady! To think she was inspired by an Incredibox mod~ (Voice 4 from Everybody Gets High, FYI.) I started drawing her at a whim, because I'm a sucker for big girls, and I wanted to see how that polo would look like from another angle. Now, she's a new character of mine and she's here to stay. I ended up loving her a lot more than I expected~
