The ice cold one.
As a tribute to my favorite movie of the event I will upload (as far as it is possible) something Balto-related each day of 2025. Here the gallery starts so you can see them all: https://www.deviantart.com/emberwol.....years-of-balto

Oh, I am simply didn't know about that drawing yet, when I made this comment. Alright, but still, this is a first drawing of him on your FA ^^
You are welcome. Also I would like to confess that your drawings with Steele were a one of my inspirational sources for my first traditional drawings of him.

No worries: I do not expect people to keep track like that. I mean Boris sent him to oblivion so noone even remember XD. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59746886/

Alright, I am simply wanted to support you. But if seriously, when I started to make a fanart of Balto, I am dreamed to more learn about how to draw and also make a fanart in original style of Balto. I am initially was starting from the screenshot redrawing but I also dreamt about more original drawings and I would like to say that your tutorials on your YouTube about how to draw Balto characters were really helpful. I am still using a techniques which were described by you in those videos.
It was the same for me: it was the first movie that made me pick up drawing again cause I wanted to draw the characters. I used the VHS tape and paused the movie to draw the pictures.
Thank you- that was so long ago but I still use that myself. Mosley i do the "from the inside out" technique nowadays but for fanart I still use this method.

Yes, the screenshots were a one of the best references, especially to understand an original style of movie. Also I have used an original references and drawings from production of Balto to learn how animators are worked over the cartoon.
I think with an experience of screenshot redrawing I was able to realise some drawings "from my head" later, but I also think I still have a little bit to learn. For example about shadings and backgrounds.
