Some days it will be so overwhelming. To accept.

I have struggled so with my anxiety and anger, it came to a head in a breakdown last summer.
I went into weekly video therapy, and set to rebuilding myself better.
In time, my furry fandom concepts came to be useful in this.
My anxiety is like a mirror, a mockery of my brave otter side. I call him Dobhar-chu, after the Irish river spirit.
He tries to scare me out of every healthy choice I could otherwise make, second-guessing me at several opportunities.
Then there's my anger, always pouncing on any worries to make me aggressively micromanage my life. I call her Aemilia, the Wolf-Mother. I am trying to bring her to heel, to tame her and have her help me instead of being jumpy and making my life harder.
Put a name and/or a face to your demons, Sarah. Don't let them push you around any longer.
Giving your bad takes a name lets you challenge those thoughts more efficiently. If you can figure out where your bad ideas and feeling is- our "demons" fit in, you can brush them aside and do what they don't want you to... more energy to what you do want to do.
They Are a part of you. But so are Sarah and Butterfli and all your other furry creations. Protect them and yourself by naming and fighting your demons. You can do it
