"จะเสร็จสิ้น" is Thai for "it is finished."
My heart felt discontent.
One night, my friend gave me an old partial fursuit that the previous owner/maker attempted to discard. The nose, teeth, and a few other parts were missing. Another friend of mine patched it up and taught me the basics of fursuit-making.
FWA passed and my dissatisfaction grew.
I took it upon myself to tailor the suit (which I call 'Pilot 1.0') to my liking. Plenty of people told me not to bother with the design beyond simple cosmetic work, but I refused to accept that. I persisted. A month later on-and-off of working, taking summer classes, etc., I finished it the day before Anthrocon 2011.
This is the finished product; I did what I could. If I could have afforded fur, I would have re-furred it as well. I had to rip off all the old fur, gut/shape the muzzle, and fit it better to my own head before executing any cosmetic tweaks. At last, my partial suit is complete. Reconstructing the head taught me a lot about fursuit making, which definitely heightened my interest in creating Pilot 2.0 post-AC. I owe it to the original owner for the suit's existence and my two good friends that provided me the tools necessary to turn column A into column B. You guys rock.
See you at Anthrocon!
