After my first live stream ever (woooo) I kinda strayed off and did this for lulz. The stream was still up as I was doing this but I thought it would be fun to show them how to do such things like this... xP
Personally I think the game was fun and I am a Duke Nukem fan from way back since I was a kid when my father bought me Duke Nukem Total Meltdown (Duke Nukem 3D for the playstation 1) at the age of roughly 6-7 years old... Father of the year material right? xD
Anyway, The game has the content from Duke 3D which was a huge plus from me but, The gameplay itself could of been so much better. The game is strictly liniar, making exploration dull as the areas where you actually get to explore have basically nothing in them. The weapons feel so much weaker than what they used to be although I was playing it on the hardest difficulty (not the difficulty you unlock later).
I wish they kept the old games style. No boss fights till the last stage in each chapter/episode, more enemies instead of making them tougher on a harder difficulty. Fast pace chaos, And last but not least, SECRETS! There were so many in Duke 3D which made the exploration worth it! Sure there's secrets in Duke Nukem Forever but they pretty much aren't as good as the ones in Duke 3D. Probably because you find a certain weapon or item that you desperately needed or you just find something about that secret welcoming. (well I do at least! :P)
Anyway... Silly Duke Nukem logo remakes are silly! :P

People got over Duke Nukem years ago. :P Duke Nukem could ahve just been a port of Duke Nukem 3D with nothing changed and it'd still sell millions of copies merely because of the Brand Name Recognition Alone.
Valve can do the same thing with Half life 2: Episode three. They can make something like a spiffed up Half life 2 mod with only 4 hours of story and it'd still sell millions because...it's HALF LIFE.

It's worth playing once, but after that, you basically know all there is to the game when you've beaten it. Nothing else in the game is really that exciting. Sure there's alot of things to interact with, but most of it isn't that great to begin with. But an upside, the graphics for the game are the best I've ever seen so far so visually it's fantastic.
Ah, Duke Nukem Forever... it's really a shame it didn't turn out the way Yahtzee had in mind. =P
there are a couple of secrets but it's not even worth the effort, some unlock achievements but most usually just give you items you either have or don't need... And yeah, the loading times are daunting as well! Dx
I just hate the fact that they had all this time to make a game and make it something that it should not of been, I still dislike how they just make the enemies harder and not the level just have more enemies. That would of made the game a more fast paced action game instead of a stop and shoot sorta thing... x.x
