The first version of a pair! This piece is the 'night time' version that shows Yara falling back through some clouds as she soars through the sky. The artist was a pleasure to work with in depicting this illustration idea I've been wanting to do for a while— because, I absolutely love being able to show off Yara's wings and glow, especially when it comes to light (which you'll be able to see more of in the other 'version').
On this version though, in the dark night sky, her cool-colored glow reflects prettily on the clouds. From below, you could possibly see the shift of colors above and faint saturation of color onto the clouds themselves, even if the dragon herself would be difficult to see at night. It'd be like spotting a shooting star, brief but incredibly pretty.
Long story short, I love it. <3
