I found this story collecting lots of dust in my Google Docs files, and I thought it would be nice to share it.

I have written this story back in September 2019 and have not refined it since, so prepare for loads of rookie mistakes and other cringey stuff.

For those who don't know, I've worked on something called The Gas Mask Facehugger, starring the titular hypnotic, parasitic gas mask, for several years now. The Gas Mask Facehugger concept actually started from this story here, just a month before I uploaded the first comic.

Given where the "hypnotic, parasitic gas mask" idea evolved into, I thought it was pretty cool to look back at the story from where it actually started from. Makes me wonder if I could implement this "dreamscape" in a later comic...

I have intended to rewrite this story sometime in 2021, adding in additional and even more surreal scenes, along with swapping in Cam as the main character while Kioshi acts similar to a keyholder for the surreal dreamscape. I might continue working on that, but we'll see what happens.
