Sorry I have not been updating much lately. I have a lot of artwork to share but coloring has proved difficult. Anyway, we have the final showdown with Aries and MB here. I know you might have some questions. I'll try and answer them without giving away too much.

Not to say he won't come back somehow, but Everyone Comes Back is mainly a convention of the Big Two comic companies, because of how IP and profit and serialized storytelling over very long periods affect choices. Eggplantman's clearly got all the love for traditional superhero tropes, though ^..^
I like the color scheme here. The villain is dressed in the red, white, and blues we commonly associate with America, his armor polished and hyper advanced like a knight of science. Yet for all that, he's still a tyrant ready to murder. Meanwhile, Aries, with curled horns, and trails of smoke rising from him, almost appears demonic, though all of it is superficial and caused by another's hand. In spite of this, his will and desire to stand for what he believes in outshines the horror inflicted upon him.

Even if I had a feeling that this is how things were going to evolve it is hard as hell to accept that Aries made the supreme sacrifice ... he is definitely the true embodiment of a hero; and I can see that Ramas's prophecy of "sacrificing everything" has been fulfilled.
Now I only hope that we can see the one about a miracle becoming true as well...
MB's acknowledgement of Aries's strenght of will is an epic and tragic moment; I remember that you mentioned about his pride in his technology and genius, so the his speech in the last panel has a real deep meaning coming from him.
I am also surprised by the fact that MB's arms are still intact; I assumed that Aries had broken all his bones in the previous panel; I guess his power armor spared him the worst... I admit it, I was actually kinda hopind that MB was going to have some broken bones, in addition to a broken ego

Come on everyone we've already seen him in comics set after this. Besides it's well known death isn't permanent in superhero comics...

I think that that prophecy may referr to Sagittarius betraying Gemini’s trust earlier … and also, I don’t think that one person may be necessarily bondend to a specific prophecy and viceversa, it may be possible that one characther is involved with more than just one prophecy…
With some time to think on it, this scene feels even sadder. Unless a future scene shows that MB being taken off the board in a combat capacity (I believe his Vector Cannon was his primary weapon), this currently feels like a potentially meaningless sacrifice. I'm really hoping to see MB's damaged suit being important to the resolution.
