So, remind me: are there 12 or 13 in total in the snek family?
'cause I notice each of Zaphira's sisters is born under each of the Zodiac, but there was a 13th candidate for the Zodiac which just missed the call by a few degrees, or the lack of a 13th month.

Ah, of course a pair of identicals for Gemini.
Was just wondering if Zaphira was sibling 13, due perhaps to alignment with the constellation of Ophiuchus, from it's snake motif.
Then again, I know your hint that Shen was "the snake handler" was a pun 'cause he's so good in bed with Zaphira ( ), I could actually believe that if it wasn't already in the comic lore, it would be a great "chosen one" wrinkle if he was born in the influence of Ophiuchus.
Think about it: 12 eggs in a clutch in the royal family, each hatching under a certain astrological aspect, and the "chosen one" of the crown princess by fate's design is born under the sign of the snake tamer?

I'm kinda curious, by looking at the outfits from the sisters so far, they all are quite different and seem to be related to different Cultures/Lands, does that mean they all life in different lands?

And now we have the shy, cowardly and paranoid sister (topaz), and the bitchy, joking and bullying sister (Emery); that's nice. Also, it's good to see that Zaphira's family is quite diverse in appearance and personality, by the way; Plus, Shen is going to have to convince Topaz later that he is not what Emery had said about him, which is not going to be easy. XD
Cancer - A hard shell protecting gooey interior, they are the ones who need comfort and love the most, but need time to make sure everyone is on the same page. Fairly good at feeling out emotions of others. Meet them halfway, and they will shower you in comfort.
