My tribute to AC and a painting that had til this year been cursed as hell. it took my 4 years to get this done and up til now only the background texture and black and white parts of the river had ever been finished. The first year i wanted to do it the paints could not be found since i think i was moving or had just moved. the next year i got the background down and shit happened again and again and it got no further. last year i got the river down and then all my paints became epic fail and would not behave like paint and more like either water or cement. so i tossed it aside again. this year armed with new paints that cost a fucking fortune even though they are bone basic mother fucking acrylics i finished it.

It is an Aboriginal Map Of Pittsburgh and all the animals are the furs coming for AC which is where the biggest concentric rings of dots are. (which indicates gather spot) the three rivers and some of the bridges and of course the fact that Pittsburgh while only in the foot hills of the Appalachians is still quite hilly and in some cases fucking mountainous. so they surround the place of the gathering of the tree rivers known as the golden triangle. the small blueblue rings are the fountain and the green arcs are the grounds of the Point State park. see if you can figure out some of the other places marked. Note anything with a blue middle dot is just kinda random.

i am so fucking proud of this painting. it is huge too. about four feet by two feet. about the size of a an art panel in the show.

I really hope other people like it too.
