The day was sunny and warm, but there was tension in the air. They walked along a trampled road in the middle of the forest, surrounded by thick trees, listening to the occasional chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves under the paws of small animals. Mafirat walked on dry sand and gravel, her black fur slightly dusty, and her ears pressed tightly to her head. She was furious with Gefrath's intrusive company, who, as always, did not miss an opportunity to tease her.
Mafirat shook herself irritably and snapped her teeth in front of his chest
- Hide, drown yourself, hibernate, fall into a pit of cement - whatever you like, Gefrath, but stop bothering me! You are like an annoying fly that cannot be swatted!
Gefrath only smirked, his gray eyes flashing with a cold light. He nudged her with the tip of his tail, causing her to take a step to the side. His black fur shimmered in the sun, and one wing was raised, sheltering his friend from the scorching sun. He purred with slight irony:
- Now, now, birdie, hide your teeth. We don't want to bring this to a fight again, do we? Although ... - he bowed his head, his voice became a little quieter, but with a hint of menace - your scars on me are my favorite decorations. Maybe you can add a couple more?
Mafirat raised her head in irritation, her white eyes flashing like a blade. She stopped and turned to him, her tail nervously twitching from side to side. She looked at his face, decorated with two scars - on the bridge of his nose and at the corner of his lip.
- If you continue in the same spirit, I will be happy to give you another beating and 'gift' you with a few more scars. Do you think this is a joke? You are like a child who does not understand when he is told 'no'.
Gefrath laughed, his voice sounded deep and a little sinister. He took a step closer, his hot breath touched her fur. His eyes sparkled with a cold light, but there was not only mockery in them, but also something deeper - an obsession that never died out.
- Oh, you are so beautiful when you are angry. Your rage is like a flame that I am ready to light again and again. And you know what? - He leaned even closer, his voice became a whisper. - I will never tire of you.

Mafirat calling him "a child who does not understand when he is told 'no'" sounds quite fitting! At least from what I can ascertain from this story. It's a fun little glimpse into their dynamic and a good intro to the character!
The art is beautiful and really hits the nail on the head in depicting the story. With all black colored characters with no eyebrows it can be difficult to show their emotions well. But you did, not just using their faces but also the body language really effectively.
I particularly like Gefrath's wing in this. With the way it's spread it looks like a hand grasping at Mafirat. Oh and the way the light makes his bat-like wing glow in the sun is beautifully drawn.
