Cat Portrait - Gumis
First drawing of year 2023. I planned to do a small cat portrait cycle, but never got around to doing it.
This is a portrait of one of my boyfriend's mother's cats - named in his birth certificate as Grim Dracula, but always called by his pet name, Gumiś.
This drawing was a test of new coloured pencils I received as a christmas present - DecoTime coloured pencils purchased in Action. I'm moderately pleased - the colours are nice, but the pencils have a problem with blending with each other past 3-4 layers of colour used, and to finish the drawing I needed to do some fixes with Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils.

It's a first portrait I've even done using only coloured pencils and not mixing them with ink and watercolours, I am quite pleased but there's a still a hell lot I need to improve and learn.
