Is a work-in-progress, thanks to Uni and Tannim for prodding me into drawing something today. It were one of those days that just beat the crap outta me. :P

I plan on re-visiting this to make it better.

i am loving the egyptian vibe. i dont know how someone can so maserfully combine beautifully executed contrast with beatifull subtlety but you did it. keep up the good work berb

So awesome. I don't know why but it strikes me as vaguely Babylonian in a weird abstract way. Kind of like it feels like that rather than necessarily looks like it.

He's pretty cool, dood (if just a little dark). Niftily sculpted and yet with a real 2-D woodblock sorta feel. That's such a neat warping of visual plane. The little extra bits add so much energy to the piece, too. This one's all about contrasts. *hug*

I really like this sort of give-and-take digital techinique... have yet to try it out myself, I must admit I'm a bit intimidated by it ;_; But you've done fantastically with it!

Parts of this have a neat Jon Foster feel. I've got a lot of respect for him as an artist, was lucky enough to get to hear him speak at our school recently. So that's a good thing. XD

and some is pleasantly weird. i think this guy's head was trapped in a clay jar, which someone has generously shattered for him. i don't care that i'm probably wrong
