'Happy' 33rd Birthday
Fragments of a Heart
She loves in halves, in echoes split,
Two arms to hold, yet something’s missed.
One man, a fire, fierce and wild,
The other, calm—a summer’s child.
She finds herself caught in between,
Drifting like a ghost unseen.
One gives her laughter, bright and free,
The other stays but silently.
When one turns cold, the other warms,
A cycle spun in quiet storms.
She stitches love from what they give,
Yet wonders—is this how to live?
One whispers words, so soft, so light,
But never stays to face the night.
The other stays, but words run dry,
Leaving silence where love should lie.
So she bends, she breaks, she mends again,
Filling voids with borrowed hands.
A patchwork love, a hollow chest,
Always longing, never rest.
Two hearts, yet loneliness remains,
Love divided, love in chains.
[Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for what I have but there are just some things that could be changed so easily..]
