Also, you're still alive! Both of these things are excellent, atop that's a very nice Guyver design. I love the backswept forearm blades from the 80s as much as the next person, but they really are not great weapon design versus a forward-angled style, and these look very cool.

I had both movies on VHS in the mid 2000's. Sadly I lost my storage and they were in there.

As the commissioner: I was partially inspired by the G-Zoanoid's forward ones from Dark Hero - though even those still had the odd forward angle of 'near the elbow' rather than 'on the forearm'.
