We're nearing the launch of MH Wilds and I'm seeing some grifter tourists trying to weasel their culture war bullshit into it again.

It's been shown a lot more lately these people don't play the games they are criticizing. You should have seen how much the FFXIV community made fun of Mark Kern when he tried justifying he played "hundreds of hours" when he barely beat the main game. The FFXIV was honestly more brutal than the MH community.
They shat hard on Groomz when he tried to make a stink over armor not being gender-locked, so I'm hopeful they'll do the same with this dude making a fuzz over facial hair not being gender locked (which we had since World, showing again they don't play the games they pretend to champion!)
These tourists will keep trying but real, solid fan communities will not allow them.
They tried it with Yakuza/"Like a Dragon" recently, claiming "this is how real masculinity should be" and got booted out hard
clearly never having played any of the games before, they were right but not how they liked.
it was real masculinity, using what you have to defend those who can't defend themselves, uplifting people and reminding people that respect is a default, you don't need to earn it, but you can lose it by being a dick.

First they were trying to make a fuzz about the armors not being gender locked in Wilds (something we've been asking for so long!) and this newest one they're trying to make a stink about facial hair not being gender locked in the character creator (which we've had since World). So, it's them showing their ass and confirming they don't play the games they whine about.
