Since Maggie and Jesse featured in the story for that Snakevaline picture, I decided to make the two adventurers in HeroForge.

Maggie’s look is based on her ‘witch’ look of a corset, a skirt, and a hooded cape. Easy to choose an outfit when she already kinda had one picked out.

You can be born with magic, you can learn it, or you can get someone to thrust it upon you. Like modern Maggie, she contacted and contracted with a demon to learn the magic she felt would make her dreams come true.

And in a more magical world, Razor Tongue didn’t screw her over with a half-assed magic lesson. Maggie learned actual, powerful magic.

But since fantasy Maggie was an initiate with the church and they frown on that sort of thing, this cost her a home and the girl she was trying to impress.

Thems the breaks.

Also, Maggie stole a powerful artifact from the church and gave it to a demon queen but that probably didn’t have huge repercussions, let's just not think about it. Maggie certainly tries not to.

Using her powerful magic, she’s become an adventurer of note and lived a life pursuing excitement and thrills and her own pleasures. She's accompanied by the only person she really trusts, her companion Jesse the Barbarian.
