Stable 1 was located within Canterlot and was designed with Equestria's elites in mind. When the mega-spells dropped, Canterlot was hit with a special one. Called the “Pink Cloud”, this spell was so filled with radiation that it melted and fused metal and glass with ease. Often melting and scorching flesh. Those located within Stable 1 while they survived, they were entombed within. However, those who were located within Canterlot that didn't die became what are known as Canterlot Ghouls, dead ponies necromanced back to life though the magical radiation. They soon rushed to the Stable. Eventually prying it open and attacking the ponies inside, blaming them for the countless deaths. Not all were killed when the Stable was raided by the living dead. Many found out the ghouls simply wanted justice as much as the lower-class ponies who worked for the upper class. So, they joined the rebellion. Steady, being a young filly was a part of said rebellion, finding out that she was a crack shot with a rifle which brought about her cutie-mark. She joined in taking the Stable over with the ghouls and helped turn it around into a bustling little town for all that remained alive. This town came to be known as Stable City. Though now with the door open, all within was exposed to radiation and pink cloud. This caused all who were still "breathing" to slowly turn to ghouls as well. Her pip-buck, like all others of Stable 1, fused to her leg, making life hard but not impossible.

As Stable City grew over the decades, so too did the need for care and supplies of the occupants within. Ghouls still need to eat. While the thought of consuming the rich had been good for some of the more feral ghouls during the initial attack, the ghouls of Stable City were still citizens and well-mannered ponies. Caravans were sent out to gather supplies from the cities and towns that surrounded Canterlot. They became the first scavengers of the wasteland. Steady had been training to become a doctor thanks to her mother being a nursemaid. With firsthand experience of ghoulification, as well as the prolonged life that it brought, Steady grew to understand the abilities of her and other’s affliction. However, hearing of the other Stables opening and towns that hadn’t been hit by mega-spells piqued her interest. So, saddling up with a caravan out of Stable City she decided to expand her knowledge on Ghouls and other radiation-based afflictions. While traveling though her caravan was attacked by raiders. She had never seen combat with people who knew how to fight. The Stable had been taken over so easily with the large numbers... but now they were the prey. She fled, and because she fled, she left her caravan to die. Now, the thought of her cowardice haunts her... and she swore that she wouldn't go back home till the lives she let slip through her hooves are avenged . . .

I know, a bit different than my usual content here but i love her design so much i had to share it with you all~ Originally created for a Fallout Equestria table top game DMed very good friend  MasterExalt Doc Steady was such a fun character to design and play~ I def want to do some more with her though we didn't get too far in the game. Ironically I got into the Fallout as a world thanks to my start in the fanfic Fallout Equestria. I got into the games thanks to  MasterExalt so I was more than excited to play a table top game of the unique world of both concepts~ This wont be the last of Doc you see~ she is far from a one and done character ^^ Putting some art of her up on my Patreon for those interested~ it will be in the $5 tier given some are still works in progress~ But I hope you enjoy~
