I want to do a better version but these were just ideas bouncing around in my head

I love the "Death and the Maiden" art motif/aesthetic where it depicts a young woman with a skeleton/dead guy/demon intertwined with her, a symbolism of a loss of innocence and never being able to outrun death, or something

I really enjoy this aesthetic and have become especially obsessed with dark/Gothic romance, I think Skullduggery/Valkyrie started it for me and then I become obsessed with Beetlejuice/Lydia and then Nosferatu was *chefs kiss* Lisa Frankenstein was also cute. I usually hate hetero stuff but as soon as you change it to creepy old corpse x live human girl, it becomes 1000% more appealing for me (which btw my art isn't because Finli is nonbinary)

I wanted to do my own version so I used SweetTart and poor Finli as models. In the original set motif it's often times just a skeleton but I like the decaying corpse with bugs and stuff. Hot. Lol

So anyway these are just some doodles I inked. Like I said want to do a better version with better anatomy and stuff. This was just for practice. I'm not 100% happy with it but I really like the lower right corner, it was inspired by a specific artist on tumblr who 8 regretfully can't remember the name of (I think it's Erojuice but not 100% sure)
