******Okay folks, this is a joke. The real promo piece is over here, but mostly you should just go and order the book from Sofawolf here.******
The Nordguard are a collective of radical eco-vigilantes who hide their identities behind animal costumes while working -- often violently -- to protect the pristine nature of the worlds' wildlands.
Known only by their codenames, the Nordguard moves from one clandestine operation to the next, ever in the shadows, leaving chaos in their wake. Leading the pack is Pi, a brilliant border collie thrice convicted on espionage charges. Her second-in-command, London, is a former MI6 sniper. The Twins (actual relation unknown) form the muscle of the group, both former Czech secret police. Add to the mix Nickel, a male stripper and demolitions savant, and McKay, an independently wealthy dental hygienist, and you have a recipe for trouble.
When the team touches down in Alaska to put a stop to the inane practice of hunting via helicopter, they soon find themselves marked for prey. Caught within the crosshairs of a particularly high-profile goon, will the Nordguard manage to turn the tables, or are they fated to be stuffed and mounted?!
You'll have to read Nordguard: Across Thin Ice for yourself to find out!
Seriously, buy the book. The thing is gorgeous, and it's the culmination of years of effort on the part of some very nice, very talented people and everybody already knows about it so why am I still talking?

I don't know what kind of nice guy runs a fake ad poking fun at his friends' graphic novel, but I'm glad you like the colors, anyway ^_^
At one point, I noticed that if you turn your head to the left and squint, it suddenly becomes the French flag. Now I can't not see it...

Haha, the really bizarre thing is that after dropping the Palincopter in for the joke image, I almost missed it (compositionally speaking) when I took it back out...
And some ideas are too beautiful to commit to the printed page. Like precious snowflakes, their evanescence is part of what makes them magical.

Eh, I don't know that my being a furry has much to do with it (maybe it clashes with her positions on hunting, but that's about all). I don't even know that I dislike her for her political beliefs. Yes, I'm a fairly virulent liberal, but everyone is entitled to their own views, and I respect anyone who wants to join in a good-faith debate. And everyone has gaffes -- I know I've certainly misquoted things, or accidentally said the wrong thing before. I don't judge her for her verbal clumsiness.
My dislike of Palin stems from the fact that she's not participating in the debate in good faith. She's a celebrity muckraker, the same as Ann Coulter or any of that ilk, whose expressed opinions aren't intended to be useful or constructive, but divisive, because the popularity (and consequent profits) she gains from them hinges on a highly polarized American population. I think we're already way more polarized as a country than we should be, and am generally wary of anyone who seeks to split us further for reasons of personal gain.
