Picked up this sweeeet headshot piece from an absolutely amazing and super talented artist who really specializes in faces and hair. They were taking bust up colors for warm ups to their art streams and when I was think about the expression I wanted, I was reminded of this unique thing that some people can do which is sort of split their face/show to expressions at the same time. I was reminded after I had recently watched squid game season 2, I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. The recruiter and that one scene. Absolutely beautiful

So I decided to give this attribute to Leon~ I knew he was gonna look extremely good in this artist's style, but god damn he looks fuckin 🥴 and everyone I've showed it to has said he looks so hot in this~ so I decided that the left side of his face (our right) with the eyepatch would be a raised angry/growly expression, with the narrowed brow and the raised snout/muzzle muscles and raised lip, while the other half of his face is calm, judging. It just looks so good~
