She was like a rock to me. Confident, funny, extroverted, supportive. My best friend in everything. She's been there for me no matter what, and I could always count on her to cheer me up whenever necessary.
She paid attention to everything I was saying and doing, just to surprise me in all the right ways. It was incredible.
Loyal, patient and witty, she opened my eyes to the nicest things I'd never heard about. She found joy in the little things, and wished for nothing but to see everyone around her be their best selves.
And she was there to assist with that, too. She really gave it all her everything.
Now that I look back on it, I guess the red flags were there, but... but still... I...
"What's with the nails?"
"Aha. You tell me! Can't a girl take care of her nails in the way she likes?"
