An old silly little cartoon picture I did for an RP I did with friends a long time ago. It was about tribal wars between barbaric clans of Dungeons and Dragons-verse lizardfolk.
Other than the type of lizardfolk in the Monster Manual, these four breeds exist throughout the 3.5 books. I can't recall their names but I do remember some descriptions.
From left to right:
Smallest type of lizardfolk, pictured is relative adult size. Brightly colored, arboreal, naturally venomous/poisonous. Lowest on hierarchy. Value stealth.
Largest of lizardfolk. Black dragon ancestry. Controls the most territory. Highest in hierarchy. Physically most powerful, and value raw strength.
Formerly enslaved by Black dragons, and altered by dragon magic. Rarest breed of Lizardfolk. Value spell-casting ability.
Relatively common breed. Have very diluted black dragon ancestry. Most organized society. Very warlike. Value strategy.
