I think by then I had started having feelings, but when I first saw this pokemon, who clearly wasn't a human, and yet looked so much like one, it sort of... Removed the last blinder I had and made me realize it WAS the male human form I was into. It's wild how it kind of clicked at that moment. He's always gonna be special to me for that bit of self revelation c:
