Glory is the first big collaboration between
foxenawolf and myself. She does the linework, and I make it a comic. Basically I draw the panels and do the toning and shading and tweak and move and wiggle people around and just comic it up.
Behold! A fresh lily wolf. The imitation process involves being stripped of who you were before and being reborn. You'll spend time as a four legged animal for a bit but your mind will be intact and there is room for advancement if you serve well. The Order will also provide for all food, housing, and provide you with an expense stipend for little treats. In return, you go where they go and do what they tell you to do.
It gets easier over time, you stop feeling guilty over the things they have you do. I mean, a person's gotta eat, right?

He understood that he was getting a new body "through the power of the anvil" but isn't aware that the transformation also affects him mentally somewhat because like the bad guys are gonna tell you that? It isn't mind control so much as he has a little voice in his head telling him it's okay to do the horrible things he might be asked to do. It's up to him whether he listens to it or not, though. Ithobaal did say he believes in free will, after all.
