Marie after meeting John [aka 'The Chameleon Kid'] in this strange new modern time. She's interested in learning new things and maybe have an actual childhood.
John shows her the Gameboy that his family owns [His parents are penny pinchers and buy older game consoles than modern ones in 2025, no less]
But it doesn't matter to the Vampire/Werewolf girl of the 18th Century. It looks like "State of the art" in her mind's eye.
