I had been itching for a new default icon for a while as my sona began to become more developed (the one in 2021 was made based on my old reference sheet), but I still really liked the look of my old default icon and wanted to emulate the style of it. I would use whatever the latest art I got as my profile picture on Discord but for most other websites, it was the 2021 icon I was using. Also I reaaaaalllyyyyy wanted to get rid of the wings, it bugged me every time I looked at it. So I commissioned  orlandofox and asked her to update the 2021 icon with my more up-to-date appearance! And she knocked it out of the park :3
