Bio: Artison Reverts was too young to remember what happened to his parents, and had lived in an orphanage with his sister, in the Down Below are of the city. He and his sister would roam and work the many streets to save up money and scrap to try and get more than what the orphanage could offer them.
One day, after deciding what to do with their yield. Artison was pulled aside, mugged by a group of thugs, and beaten within an inch of his life. when a cleric was able to get to him, his leg had already gained a terrible infection and it had to be amputated.
Over the next several years, Loretta was always by his side, and he was concerned for her guilt-stricken behavior. To try and calm her, he had worked on a prosthetic leg to show her he could survive and would be okay. It wasn't perfect, so he ended up making newer versions. this got the attention of someone on the street and so he was asked to make a prosthetic for another person. This became a small side job he was able to make money off of, and then it took a drastic change when he was offered a place at a highly academic school in the city. Artison didn't understand how he could be allowed, but he took the offer and started to live and work within this school. Soon after, he learned his classes were being paid because his sister joined the army in order to pay for his schooling.
Because of these things, not only did Artison study hard, but also worked on other inventions meant to protect people and save lives. This resulted in him paying for his own schooling, rising to the top student of the school in years, and even gaining the government's attention in researching ancient artifacts and devices.
Among these artifacts he was assigned to study was "The Ring." This was a massive circular artifact that, he discovered, open portals to other dimensions when heat was applied to specific points of the ring.
Now, Artison takes up new lines of works while he and his sister live off patent revenue in the up top part of the city. He invents things, studies old relics, and explores the multiverse.
