I've had this fun, genre-mashing idea bouncing around my head for a while, and while I've been trying to mainly focus on my main comic TNB, sometimes you just need to let an idea out so it'll stop knocking over the furniture.
It's a cyber-fantasy setting where my brain gets to play with how a magical world would solve sci-fi problems, but I really liked exploring how the mundane interacted with said magic-science fusion.
Like how would an assistant-senior architect who's also a sorcerer, go about his day? Does he go to an arcane gym to keep his magic muscles in shape? Does he wear enchanted jewelry to help prevent accidental magic-discharges from happening at the office? What's his dating life like? He'd already have dragon-blood in his family tree, so would he be down to date an actual dragon himself? What if he met his dragon boyfriend on an arcane dating program called 'Hoardr'? What if they went to the beach one day... and kissed?
And thus Sean the sorcerer/architect and his dragon boyfriend Rix were born!
Now, brain, can we get back to planning out TNB? */Yes, but don't forget to obsessively use the number eight, and the language is getting close to done so let's talk about how spider silk has tryptophan in it like turkey meat while we figure out the distance between two major hubs, oh and do you think the gun-swords could handle larger caliber rounds?/* ... Yeah, I guess.
Jokes aside, this was quite literally the last piece I was able to finish before my PC died, and as such an example of my skills as of late. I was really pleased with how this one turned out. It's also one of the few other "non-furry" pieces I did, I might share the rest here cuz, fork it, I need to do something with them.
I have a little short story to go with this piece, I've found out I can pretty comfortably write on my phone while laying down so I've been doing that to keep myself sane and give my back a break. Maybe if I finish it I'll share it as well.
Til then, later fuzz-butts.
