Hey everyone!
It was itching in my fingers to finally do some fanart for one of my favourite Poppy Playtime characters - Yarnaby the yarn lion^^ He is just such a sweet and cute little goober if it weren't for the evil bigger bodies initiative from the toy company that created him.
I don't know what it is but his design and cute voice captured me so much that he easily became one of my favourites, even if it already looked like it's gonna be a challenge to draw him with the immense amount of "hair" he has. However, I truly wanted to tackle that challenge of drawing him in my style, even if in a simple style without any shading. I tried my best anyways, depicting him like a feline character would after he caught a little bird (Poe, the Crow Nightmare Critter) as a gift for his owner/master. He's so proud here, just wanting to make someone happy and proud. I'm truly happy how this drawing turned out and all the work creating the lineart and all the little details to create the yarn he consists of was absolutely worth it in my opinion! What are your thoughts? Do you like Yarnaby and what do you think of my version of him? Your feedback means a lot to me^^
