The luna moth wings again, this time with GLOW. :D
So technically, they're still not done. I want to add some details in a couple of different colors, but these needed to be finished enough to be wearable for an event last weekend, so here they are with just the green outline. Top left photo is long-exposure hand-held, top right is long-exposure from a surface, and bottom is long-exposure hand-held with strobe mode on. :3
People were asking me about the materials on the first post, here's what I can remember that I used: dense craft foam in several thicknesses, tria marker, acrylic paint, opaque paint marker, fleece, ribbon, craft wire, super glue, nylon thread, polyeaster thread, black cord, elwire, strobe power source, tailwire, copper wire, solder/electrical tape/snap connectors/batteries/etc.
Not an easy process, this was a solid 14 hours of work if I counted correctly. u_u I may not have, there were some late nights. And I'm not quiiite done yet. Aiee.

These birds? http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5370692/ Yes, they are mine too! :) I generally (though not always) wear the red one myself, and the white one is my friend
turbinedivinity. And thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed them. They are a lot of work (to make and upkeep, as well as to wear!) but it's really worth it for the reactions from people cons and festivals.
