I just played Mass Effect Andromeda for the first time! It was a mostly positive experience but my least favorite thing about it was that salarians had exactly one head model that they all had to share. I don't know if the developers just ran out of time or what, but in any case, I drew some redesigns.
In retrospect I think I should have made Tann look a bit older or at least more tired, but other than that I'm pretty happy with these.
Here's some headcanons I came up with while drawing:
- Tann secretly misses home like crazy.
- Herik loves animals and dreams of becoming a veterinarian, but his current job is too important to leave. And also people don't have many pets at the moment. Maybe in a few years? Also he's tall.
- Nels is distantly related to Raeka, hence the similar-ish tattoos. He only works behind a desk due to getting injured on duty. Pretty nice guy despite his severe appearance, I think.
- Raeka must have been in some kind of hyper-competitive sports team as a kid, I just know it.
- Del Jasin may be a technician but her true passion is BUGS and someday she's going to relocate to Havarl and keep them as pets. She'll collect them like they're Pokémon.
- Tann's aide (name?) has a badly concealed crush on the Pathfinders. All the Pathfinders.

Thank you! I thought her in-game appearance suited her pretty well so I tried not to change her too much. Just a little more buff and I dunno, solemn-looking. Not because she's sad, but because there IS a lot resting on her shoulders and she takes the responsibility very seriously.
