Color me intrigued. I know i hardly ever comment nowadays on your stories, but just know that i still find them to be amazing reads. Anyway, i hope that pokemon day isn't a huge let down. Personally, i hope they announce a new pokemon mystery dungeon game. Not a remake, but a brand new one, with hopefully pokemon chat. You know, like how in the first one, where they had lines in the dungeon that shows up if they level up, get to low health, and i think you can just get other flavor text as well. Apparently they have flavor text in super mystery dungeon, but i have no clue how to get it to show up in the dungeon. I even tried looking it up. Anyway, out of curiosity, what are you hoping the pokemon company will annouce/reveal on pokemon day?
Well, comments are what keep the story chugging...hence why so long breaks between it heh...
I kinda tapped out after Sun/Moon but...another Mystery Dungeon wouldn't be bad...perhaps one that's expanded even MORE than previous games. Maybe bigger parties, larger scale dungeons, more tactical options...kind of like merging it with things like Final Fantasy Tactics or something. I WOULD like to see them expand the available list of Pokemon you can choose for your character too, like have the whole list up till now of base Pokemon (which, of course, would include a Salandit heh.)

Not gonna lie, and i know this is going to probably never happen, but imagine a pokemon mystery dungeon that takes the pokedex into account, basically using the pokemon's unique abilites and features into account. Then again, if that happened, slugma would probably be a problem because apparently according to the Dex, it's apparently as hot, if not hotter than the sun if i remember right, so maybe this is a terrible idea. And that's just one pokemon. Also as for why i hardly comment, well...other than saying how good the stories are, i simply have nothing to really say. That, and i thought that if i just kept saying the stories was good over and over again, not only would it would get old, but i thought that it might come across as me saying it, but not actually meaning it, you know? Of course, looking back, this is probably a very stupid way of thinking, and for that i apologize. I'll try to comment more often. Maybe not for every story you post admittedly, but definitely more often.
Considering the Pokedex is a human invention...that may not happen specifically---though since the 'plot' of most PMDs include a human from a different world...one could wonder if that human wasn't a 'trainer' before and maybe brings that knowledge in somehow.
Of course, a LOT of Pokedex entries can be rather...alarming, especially when it comes to some like Drifloon or Phantump.
Well saying something is 'good' is rather basic, yes...but I mean 'why' is something 'good' I guess is one wonder to have. What makes a story make you smile, laugh, or even cry when there's drama that comes. Is there something smart you see that makes you go 'oh that's cool, this thing here' or something perspective that makes one go 'oh, never thought of that'.
It's like when people 'favorite', it's really just a number...it doesn't really 'do' anything for the person showing their work...especially when they risk putting it out there in the first place to people, and without a price tag to boot nowadays. Actual commenting of saying why people enjoy what they see helps encourage the artist/writer and, if it comes in bulk, encourages their mindset of 'hey, guess I'm doing something right'.

As for Tactics, it's a great game. Much more critical and dramatic given the material is more...'mature', but I remember PMD has the capacity to be rather mature at times itself, so think it can step into something more drastic (but not too out of character). The idea of leading a whole band of Guild Members (possibly everyone) into a 'mega dungeon' of an important quest can be quite compelling.
I will say, i think the world your stories takes place in feels pretty unique to my knowledge. Like, it actually feels believable in my opinion. Not to mention, it's quite clear you put a lot of time and effort into the setting and the characters. Speaking of which, i know this wouldn't make much sense at it takes into account game mechanics, but lmagine chet finding out that chatot wasn't legal in competitive play for some time in the past, and how chatter worked in the past. (I heard it was changed to work different than how it used to.) Anyway, i wonder if chet would be annoyed, disappointed, or just be amused?
Thank you heh. I think the world of Pokemon has such a great scope to it...and while I was there for many of the original series when it first started (and a peek at a later one), I haven't been able to see a lot of it outside some of the games up to Sun/Moon....but I know that being a 'Trainer' is like the mind-set for most of it. And while some organizations and things like the Rangers have shown up, don't think we've gotten too much looking at other aspects until recently. So, having a place that discourages battling and training and has an interesting addition opens up how the world can be interacted with in a new, different way. And, of course, it's just getting started...
Probably wouldn't, since that would be Meta...but if I had to say it...I'm pretty sure the reason why THAT happened...it was because people were using swear words and stuff and taking advantage of it, so that would probably be in relation to it. He'd probably be sympathetic to the Chatots about it, figuring that it was the Trainers who got them to say such things (which, meta-wise, is 100% true heh), and express gratitude that he's essentially got freedom of expression where he is (showing that different perspective I mentioned a moment ago).
And it's also interesting consider Chet also has his own unfortunate past that could be explored down the line in the series as well...

Oh that's a hard question, considering all the generations we have so far...and the fact I'm kind of split due to not doing some games or not seeing some anime...
7 was my last game generation...and the different take they were trying for moving things was interesting...
But I was also there for the start, for both anime, TCG, and games, so Generation 1 holds a sacred place heh...
