(Alts are available on DA!)
6 days remain of Funky February, yet the song is far from over, even as it nears its' conclusion, it still finds new ways to alter and excite the very nature and rules of reality and those within it~
Case in point, watch how thoroughly the funk transmogrifies those who pledge to it fully, where even the most heinous creatures let the kindhearted warmth of disco fill their bodies, minds, and souls~
=================================================
You arrive just in time, you were almost worried you'd lost your tickets on the way in, but you managed to pull them out of your pockets just as the giant insectoid bouncer in the ship hangar was starting to give you a dirty look.
To recap yourself, you had just gotten aboard the Galaxy Core, a quote unquote "luxury event center with everything any species could wish for, with activities, attractions, music, games, and far more, complete with cabins for extended stay!"
...
In other words, it was a space theme park, and a VERY recent one at that, despite being fairly popular and VERY well advertised, the entire station felt like it just...appeared one day with no prior warning or announcement. You were checking in today however because you wanted to see something interesting being advertised, they were advertising a particularly spectacular show to happen early into the opening hours and was to last the ENTIRE operating day...with how much they were hyping it up, you and many other aliens from all sorts of places came to see just what the fuss was about...
...boy, were you not going to regret that~
As everyone piled into the vast, circular concert hall at the center of the station, the stage at the very center slowly began to lower down, as funky, catchy music that wouldn't feel out of place at a 70's disco began to play, colorful lights and holograms in all directions began to activate in rapid succession, all pointing to the disco floor-plated stage as an ethereally funky, somewhat deepened alien voice began to sing~ You and the ENTIRE crowd's jaws collectively dropped when you saw just who was on stage.
It was the oh-so-infamous Experiment-626, or as they've been more commonly called, "Stitch". There were certainly rumors of a new experimental rehabilitation program in the works these last few weeks related to mysterious signals coming from beyond the stars, but nobody could have predicted it'd lead to this! The experiment certainly had some changes to their common appearance, however~
They wore a shiny, jewel-encrusted fancy suit, clad in black and gold, they wore sea blue, angular sunglasses...and most notably, they had a MASSIVE, incredibly soft looking afro that was a dark grey-ish blue, just as big as they were. Stitch, or as they were now known, "Groovy Galaxy", slid forward and struck a pose, bobbing their head around as their afro jiggled like pudding, the crowd cheering wildly over this much funkier former-destroyer, the concert was now underway~
With each song that passed, Groovy-G's afro grew bigger, at first it was gradual, so subtle it was hard to tell it was even happening, but once it began to brush against the ceiling it was pretty obvious, it was so eyecatching and glorious you hardly noticed your own head growing softer, and didn't even notice a thing as the entire crowd had already grown full afros by the end of the first song~
By the end of the second song, his disco outfit could barely contain his growing body hair, which had merged into a single daruma ball waiting to explode out, which finally happened in the midst of the third, sending scraps of cloth everywhere, and not just from Groovy's own outfit, the crowd certainly felt alot cozier, and alot taller, even as everyone's hair kept growing to new extreme sizes, you could still get a full view of the action, and a perfect view as Groovy Galaxy began his next song by spinning around, seductively waving his eyebrows at the entire crowd, the crowd's cheering got louder and louder as with each spin they got noticably bigger and bigger, as now tiny face amidst a sea of funk was even further obscured by a growing in, gloriously thick mustache and beard combo, the crowd's facial hair rolling in like red carpets to celebrate his new self~
Hours had passed, or was it days...or weeks...?~
...It may have been a few years, honestly, things were getting pretty packed, honestly~
Outside the station, all you could see was hair pushing on every single surface with immense pressure, creaking with excitement, it wasn't any less packed in here, the spacious room had shrunk to a dome of funk surrounding Groovy G, whose hair had not only grown much thicker, but seemingly older as well, becoming darker and even softer than before, his afro and beard having noticable streaks of gray along it, his voice was getting deeper with each song as the funky, crazy lyrics kept singing about how much hair everyone was growing, and as of more recent, how *old everyone was beginning to get~*
Though for you, you didn't mind it one bit, you felt just as great as you did at the start, just with even more softness now, as you stared at your friends whom you'd entered with, you could hardly see their faces anymore, just hearing their equally deep voices sing along with the lyrics, fist-bumping their immensely thick mustaches again and again along with the rest of the crowd, who ranged from "only just starting to grey" to, "nearly white as snow"~
...
You were going to enjoy it SO much once everyone looked like the latter~
