When somebody says "Your comic would be more successful if it had more nudity."
Dil has been naked this entire time!! Are you not entertained?! 😂

Not complaints necessarily. But I've received a couple comments that have implied it would be more popular if it was more... spicy. 🥵🌶️
And maybe it would be, but that's not really the kind of story I'm trying to tell. Is there a place for more mature content? Absolutely. But it's important to me (and more than a few of my readers who've said as much) that Aww, Feathers! remain family friendly.

Ever since I was young, Dilawar will always remain my favorite boy, and my slight crush... 😳 I've always wanted a commission with him. Would I be lying if I said I've never imagined him looking... "anatomically accurate"? Yes absolutely! >///< But in all seriousness, I can't express how much your story has fulfilled me. I was never much of a reader, especially when I was younger. But I always found myself arriving back to the Aww Feathers website right on time as another panel was uploaded. And I remember even being one of those readers who praised the comic for being family friendly. A breath of fresh air from the...usual furry comics I'd see back then... I love a peek into anthro worlds that actually have world building, and use anthro characters as a theme and story devices, instead of just objects for adult themes. Stories and themes that argue why an anthro world is more interesting than a human one. Perfect example, Zootopia, or Beastars. Not to mention how well the story clicked with me. I love stories that have to do with an outsider main character having to go to a new place where they meet a group that already know each other, and the main character has to adjust and adapt to living with a new set of friends and or frenemies. And its the icing on the cake when the story is taken outside of the main characters perspective, and the roommates get focused on, giving us a slice of what their life is like, and adding more depth to their character. I call this trope "the prison trope," as it feels best described as someone getting caught and sent to prison where they have to interact with a group who's been there longer. Like when Star-lord got arrested and met his crew in Guardians of The Galaxy. Or when Pomni arrived in the Digital Circus. This trope is so fun to me because it feels like there is so much you can do with it. And learning about these people along side with the main character, rooting for them, loving them, hating them, shipping them, etc. Uncovering their backstory and why they're there, Its just great storytelling, and I've based many RP's off of that trope. You could even say reading Aww Feathers back in the day was a heavy inspiration as to what got me into this trope in the first place! I wish you nothing but greatness and happiness in life jlark. Thank you for making the comic exist, and I wish I could support your work in more ways. I remember years ago, seeing you unbox the Aww Feathers...physical book? Shoot, I forget. But I remember thinking to myself how much of a lovely man you seem, and how happy you and your wife seem together. And I wish you both nothing more but the best of love and happiness in life! I wish I could find that comment I left years back on the Aww Feathers website... But its probably long gone by now. I know there were many spelling errors in it, hehe. So here is my revised comment! Wishing nothing but love and well being. <3<3<3 Keep on being such an amazing birb!💜💜💜
