Happy Pokémon Day, and Happy Belated Valentine's Day! It seems we've caught Ray and his wife Raichu spending some time together in the grass. The lad thinks it's a bit pointless but he can't say no to his lass, so he obliges while they were out on a nature walk. The ground is cozy and soft and cool as winter makes way for spring, and it's a beautiful day with little clouds in the sky. Raichu enjoys comparing Ray to any clouds she can find, he's in on it but can't help but fire back. He doesn't care though, he's in the presence of his love, and that's all that matters.

This was a late Valentine's Day gift to @LilArrin, so I decided to draw something involving our Raichus. Since I missed the day due to a major bout of motivation rut and being unsure of what to draw, I finally came up with something and once I got an idea of what to make and sat down to draw it, it felt like a neuron triggering. It disappoints me that it took me this long to get it done, but I was very pleased with the result. Raichu isn't supposed to look like this, as Zergy draws her as the standard electric mouse we would know, but from the start I wanted to give her a little personal flair, such as a hair-fur-style and some tufts of fur on her cheeks, partially to give her a little extra design but also to try out drawing that kind of thing. It's not really to misrepresent her but I also didn't like how she looked without the extra stuff, like I drew myself into a corner. Either way, I hope it's liked anyway, because this is one of my favorite pieces of art already! As for Zergy, I make this for you as I make everything else for you, something out of love for you and the friendship I hold near and dear to me; I hope you like this most of all. 💕
